The subliminal messaging Burger King is portraying to their audience is that size truly does matter. Clearly stated in their narrative “wish our chicken was bigger” They use sex in order to sell their product. They also are stating in their commercial that if guys eat Burger King they will get the appealing girl. These types of commercials are seen more so in our culture today because sex sells. In the commercial they use a chicken sandwich to symbolize a certain private male body part. My assumption is that Burger King is targeting mainly men with enticing females to make them want to buy their product.

Clearly, there is a comparrison of bigger than smaller. The ad is sending the message that bigger is better. The woman prefers the guy with the bigger sandwhich. There is lack of sound, you hear nothing but the subway moving, which is appealing to the audience due to the fact that they are more visual. Noise would serve more as a distraction to the message. The way that the sandwhich is positioned suggusts that a bigger sandwhich is manly for it is held by his "manhood".
