Lia's Introduction

(sorry its a little late...i thought i posted it but i guess it didn't work. trying to get the hang of this whole online blogging thing...)

So, my name is Lia deWit. Everyone always misspells my first and last name. I am a freshman in college, eighteen years old, and I live in Sedro-Woolley. I am from San Diego and moving up here was a drastic, but nice change of pace for me and my family. I have fallen in love with the Pacific Northwest, everything about the scenery and the people. I enjoy dancing, photography, hanging out with friends...ya know the usual cliche for teenagers nowadays. I am a pretty simple, yet slightly complicated person. I love entertaining people and I love making people laugh and I love when others make me laugh. But it is really difficult for me to just sit here and write about myself, there is a lot to tell and not enough time to tell it in. If you want to know me, just talk to me. :)

I really enjoy writing free verse poetry, it lets me write whatever I would like to without having anyone judge me on what i write. I usually tend to write this down in a composition notebook at home, and its usually when I am really upset or when I am overwhelming happy. Anything that inspires me to write. This kind of writing lets me get out anything that I am holding in and lets me get it out in the open and no one else has to read it.
