It touches on many important topics, such as students who spend most of their time online, as well as the parent's fears of predators finding out about their children. However as the documentary goes on, it shows that the children are capable of handling themselves online, and know who to ignore and block.
The documentary also illustrates just how powerful technology is in this day and age (despite being made in 2006). Nowadays most classes use technology to improve the pacing of their classes and keep their students interested. By contrast, they mention that a class that uses the traditional blackboard and chalk to teach a class is out of date and the students are easily bored.
In all, it is a good viewing experience for the inexperienced parent or student in technology. However I myself knew most if not all of the subject matter that it touched upon. I have been using the internet thoroughly since I was in middle school and I know what to look out for. But as I said, for those who do not know what to look out for, they should give this movie a look.
